With proper documentation, we will send your dispute to
all three credit bureaus to permanently change an inaccurate
credit reference. You must be set up for this service and
provide the proper documentation as detailed in the instructions.
While there is no guaranty by the major repositories or
LandAmerica that the score will increase, our experience has been
favorable in most instances.
How to place an order for
BureauDirect™
1) Use the BureauDirect™ Request form as a cover sheet.
You must provide your name, as contact person, plus your
phone number, and fax number.
2) Supply Documentation: (Name and number for contact person
of provider that will verify corrective action needed is
helpful)
i. Letter from creditor provided by consumer that confirms
the consumers dispute
ii. Or, “UDF” universal data form completed
by creditor - for use with
TransUnion Only.
iii. Certified Court documents (release of lien, bankruptcy
papers satisfaction of judgment, Etc.)
(The letter or UDF must contain adequate identification
of the consumer and the account to be updated, must indicate
the nature of the update to be made, and must be signed
by an authorized representative of the data furnisher.)
NOTE: These are the only documents the credit bureaus
will accept. Please do not supply cancel checks or credit
card statements, they are not acceptable forms of documentation.

3) Client may re-pull credit on consumer after
LandAmerica completes the service on files older than
30 days. To prevent re-pulling old file client must request
LandAmerica to re-pull credit on files under
30 days old (this is done due to our normal 30 day re-pull
protection)
Please note: Experian is charged at $15.00 per reference
and TransUnion and Equifax is $30.00 per reference.
